Miklós started playing water polo at nine years old in his home country of Hungary. Excelling in the sport, he played professionally from 2001 until his retirement in 2019. Miklós played for Budapesti Vasutas Sport Club, Eger, Honvéd, Budvanska Rivijera – Budva, Orvosegyetem Sport Club, and Ferencváros. In addition, he played his first national match in 2005 under the captaincy of Dénes Kemény. Throughout his career, he appeared in over 200 international matches with the Hungarian national team, including five World Aquatics Championships and three European Championships, and was on the Hungarian team that won the World Championships gold medal in 2013.
The founders of MVP Water Polo Academy are Viktor Paján and Miklós Gór-Nagy.
They played water polo at the highest level, having won the LEN Euro Cup and LEN Champions League respectively. They wanted to provide student athletes with an opportunity to learn from the best in water polo. Dedicated to the highest level of excellence in every aspect of the development of an athlete, they specifically designed the training camp to cater to every need.
Whether it is about nutrition, or physical training, or mental preparation they put together a programme that leaves no stones unturned. Whoever decides to try it out they won’t be disappointed.
Gergely Fabian is a coach with multi-level experience. He played in Hungary until the age of 21, then he moved to New York and played on the team of Saint Francis College. He led his team to the NCAA Final Four, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising/Communication. He then played for NYAC, winning multiple national championships on the club level. After working overseas, he moved back to Hungary in 2008. He began coaching 9 years ago, specifically in developing fundamental skills at the early years of water polo players. He led his teams to Hungarian championships, won many tournaments, and have been continuously developing players that reach the national selection for the various age groups. He is an adaptive coach, he develops methods and exercises that cater to the needs of modern water polo. He is currently coaching at Ferencvarosi Torna Club. He is fluent in english, and he has the experience needed to develop athletes both in and out of the water.
